The "Observation Tower North" expresses my views of the drawings by M.C. Escher and the Romanesque architectural style. I highly enjoyed looking at drawings of optical illusions as a child, especially when architecture was depicted. In such cases, I always imagined how it would be to visit the building and explore every corner of it. With my paper model, I have brought this experience into the third dimension.
Assembling the model was an enormous challenge due to the numerous interior areas and staircases.
