Sometimes I'm asked how I manage to fit all the pieces of my paper models together. While the end result looks simple, it takes some effort to get there. In this case, I experimented with geometric shapes that cut into the wall surfaces. Due to this special property, every small change in length had a big impact on the overall proportions.
The color scheme was partly inspired by Roman architecture and the "Rotunde" in Vienna built for the 1873 World's Fair.
